RetinaLyze enables eye specialists to perform efficient eye screening of created fundus photos and OCT images. This eye screening can be used by opticians and ophthalmologists. The AI-based software can now detect over 100 signs of changes in the retina. The easy-to-understand results of the eye screening are reported back in writing by the software in a status report after about a minute.
"This eye screening serves as a supplementary eye check, but cannot replace the customer’s visit to an ophthalmologist. A diagnosis is never made during an eye check by the AI and also by the optician." Regina Otto always explains this before a screening. Regina Otto is an optician and the owner of Otto – Visual Competence Center.
