We are proud to present RetinaLyze version 1.3.0, which consists of some major design changes, changes in the AMD-analysis’ results, the addition of new features and a lot of new languages.
Version 1.3.0 consists of many small and big design changes, which aim to make it quicker and easier to use RetinaLyze. This includes the addition of easily recognizable icons on the most often used buttons as well as a more accessible placement of the zoom-buttons on the detailed page.
To make the results more easily understandable and to create a system in the results across diseases, we have chosen to change the colour of the positive results on an AMD screening from red to yellow. Another reason is that we avoid a client being unnecessarily scared by looking over the shoulder of the optician.
With this change, we underline the fact that a client should not be referred to an ophthalmologist based on the system’s result alone. Instead, the referral should take place based on a holistic analysis of the client, which includes listening to the client’s symptoms. Symptoms of AMD are blurred vision, straight lines appearing blurry and greyish or blurry spots in the central field of vision. If one or more of these symptoms occur, the patient should be referred to an ophthalmologist without hesitation. As always, it is recommended to send the picture to the eye specialist backup if there is doubt.
The generation of statics is now 3 times faster for the users who have access to this feature.
RetinaLyze is now available in the following languages: Danish, Arabic, German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish and Chinese.
